If you are reading this, you're probably bored, curious or looking for the next abandoned place to visit while you're in KK. Due to popular request & for the convenience of the public, here is our compiled list of abandoned places alongside some information regarding the abandoned places.

Although this list is for your convenience, please note that, some of the places on this list may or may not still be abandoned. But one thing for sure is, all the places listed here were once abandoned.

Story: Owned by a big property developer in KK. Lived there from 1995 - 2004.

Story: 
 Use to be government official building. Office relocated so building is left abandoned.

Approximately 2010-2020
Story: 
 Unstable landscape making it very dangerous to live there causing to be abandoned by owner.

7. Tuaran Beach Resort

Story:
Apparently this resort was unable to sustain. Forced to shutdown.

Story:
Chinese Owner migrated in 2015/2016. Leaving the house in abandoned state.

9. Kinarut Abandoned Mansion
Abandoned: 1919 (Owner Died)
Story: 
The building was built in 1910 by German W.F.C. Asimont. Asimont was the first manager of a rubber plantation known as Kinarut Rubber Estate, where the British Society for Manchester North Borneo Ltd located. Most of the structures are destroyed.

10. 1Sulaman
Abandoned: 2011
Story:
Developer of this Project is the same developer of 1 Borneo (Sagajuta Sabah sdn.bhd). Very high profile case as developer abandoned project. Apparently declared bankrupt, ran away with money causing a lot of people to suffer. There is on-going case to revive project.
Status:

Story: 
Relocation plans to new state library location was the reason for this building to be abandoned. Relocated to Suria Sabah 5th floor initially due to some problems.
