FREE BUSES! Time to clear up KK’s growing traffic jams

The KK traffic gets more and more congested each day a new flyover gets built (it’s for better traffic in the future, of course). Whatever happened to the old KK that was so relaxed that you could reach home just 5 to 7 minutes from work?

Nowadays, with more people getting into the city in the morning, then going home after a good day of work- there aren’t many alternatives to commute to where we need to be other than just driving by car. Although we do see better roads for us in the future, with better bus services and possibly even trains like they have in KL, we do need to come up with ways to lessen the traffic for everyone’s ease.

Sure, there’s the option to carpool with your friends, but it does get tiring for the driver to go from one end of Penampang all the way to Kolombong. It does use up a lot of fuel too, so in some cases, it might not be very wise.

Fear no more! SP Setia has given the people of KK transportation advantages with their free buses stationed at Aeropod. Yes, they’re totally free.

With the advantage of the FREE BUS, riders get to commute to the city and the airport easily with no worry of the fares.

These are the bus shuttle routes and their operating times:

ROUTE A

Aeropod > Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA)

Time: 10am - 8.30pm with an interval of 1 hour 30 minutes

ROUTE B

Aeropod > Shangri-La > Imago Shopping Mall > Suria Sabah > Gaya Street

Time: 10am - 8pm with an interval of 2 hours

This bus shuttle service is available 7 days a week! You can park your car at Aeropod So why not sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride? (Hopefully traffic-jam-free).

So there you have it, folks. Not only do you get to save money, you wont have to waste so much fuel just to get to the airport or the city. The only thing missing in this free bus service is free wifi! ;)
