Sunset Bar

Sunset Bar Tanjung Aru is one of the perfect spots for socializing while enjoying the view of a Sabahan by-the-beach sunset. They have a cool outdoor patio that allows you to bask in the sun while waiting for the sky the morph into hues of red, orange, and blue. They do have a selection of beverages and food for you to enjoy; the drinks are a little on the pricier side but do visit during happy hour around 5.30pm to get discounts. If you were to visit on Sundays, you will be entertained by guest jazz singers, adds a little spice to your evening.

Kalamata’s Resto’ba

Kalamata’s Resto’ba has a really great ambiance to enjoy food and your company, their food ranges from traditional Philippine’s food, to western cuisine, and even local Asian delights. Their Kalamatas Cheese Burger is definitely something you should try; it is unlike any other cheeseburger in town. They have quite a selection of beers and other alcoholic beverages for you to pair with your food. The staffs are absolutely delightful and you can play pool (with charge) on the second floor of the bar.

La Vintage Bar & Grill

    La Vintage Bar & Grills offers unique atmospheres through their multiple concept vintage interiors. The bar is decorated with different themes like English Garden, Queen Elizabeth Suite, Native Butiza, Oriental Tea Corner, Tropical Beer Garden, and Neo-Classical Atrium. It is not your typical bar but it is a great place to hang out and socialize with others. It also has an impressive menu with the traditional Kadazan dish Hinava as their appetizer, Italian cuisines like Pizza and Pasta, as well as their main menus like the scallop with baby spinach, grilled lamb, and much more! Your mouth will water just from the selections presented for you. Your dishes can be accompanied by selections of alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages.

      The Waterfront Strip in Kota Kinabalu has a range of bars for you to choose from, but one of them would be Mynt Club. Not only will you get your perfect sunset shot but you can also enjoy some cocktails or beer while you are at it. After the sun sets you can enjoy talented bands that would offer you sing-and-dance experience. It’s a great place to unwind and spend time with your crowd.

      Shenanigan’s Fun Pub

        This bar is a great place for live band performances and also a night out with your clique. Shenanigans have different themed nights every night, for instance, Thursday nights are ladies’ nights, Wednesday nights are tourism players night, and so on.
